De Lara Dance was founded out of desire to unite the diverse communities of the world through the passion of dance!
De Lara Dance presently works with dancers and performers of all ages and experience levels to shatter cultural barriers, to spread health through self expression, and to promote movement mastery.
Our dream could not be achieved without the vision, direction, and charisma of the woman herself, Mrs. Sandy De Lara.
Appearing in venues such as China Club (New York), House of Blues (Hollywood), Rain Club (Las Vegas) and many more, Sandy De Lara entices audiences across the nation. Utilizing her diverse training skills including modern, jazz, salsa, flamenco, cha cha cha, etc, Sandy distinguishes herself from the common performer. As an instructor of several different styles of dance, Sandy commands the attention of her students with her unique flare, combinations, and patterns.

A message from Sandy…
I was born in Mexico and raised in Dallas Texas. My first taste of dance was at the age of 2 when my mother discovered that every time she would do the laundry, I would start dancing to the rhythm of the washing machine. Shortly after starting elementary school, my mother decided to enroll me in Folkorico, she felt it would be a bit more enjoyable than the washing machine. I learned the technique of the traditional dance of my country. After that, I developed a want for diversity in dance. I continued to take classes and performed through my school years, that included Folklorico, ballet, Jazz, and modern.
As I matured, I was introduced to a completely different style of dance…Salsa. From the second it entered my heart, my body desired to learn and grow more!!! Even though I had various styles of dance training, Salsa to me was unique and fulfilled me in every way. After only 3 months of dancing salsa, I was thrown on stage by my dance partner. I immediately fell in love with the style and decided to dedicate part of my life to learning, teaching and performing. I have been blessed with meeting many beautiful people around the United States that share the same passion.
De Lara Dance is my way to continue in the legacy of dance and to share the many beautiful gems that my teachers have shared with me. Dancing is for all ages, races, socioeconomic status, religions, gender, etc. For those who would like to learn how to dance Salsa infused with different styles, we are here for you!. Whether you would like to social dance, or have the opportunity to get on stage, I commit to bringing the best out of you. I look forward to seeing you, dancing with you, and growing with you!
